Bag Bags Are Here!

bagdispenser.jpg

Introducing the “Bag Bag”. This is a fun bag made by me to store all your plastic bags. It has a large opening in the top to make it easy to load, and a smaller dispenser opening at the bottom so all your bags don’t fall out on your floor!!

I’m selling these for $10 ($2s/h if you aren’t local). These bags come in an assortment of color combinations, each one slightly different but designed by ME! And $1 of every sale is going to Heifer International to help buy some chicks for them.

If you are paying via cash or check please leave a comment to let me know if you want one and I will email you back with payment instructions.  If you want to use paypal there is a link below.  We (My mom helps me!) try to ship things out within a week of your order.  Should there be a delay we will let you know when you order.
I hope you want one and I can’t wait to make one for you.

UPDATE: If you have left a message ordering a Bag Bag, my mom has sent you an email confirming your order. If you haven’t got the email please check your spam filter and leave another comment! :D Orders made by today (2/7) will be shipped on Friday. Thanks so much for your consideration! –G.

[…] Georges, who happens to be the kiddlin’ of one of my fave bloggers Wende, and who also happens to be 10 years old has gone into business for himself! He wanted to learn how to use the sewing machine so his mom sat down and taught him. He soon found out he really likes sewing and now he’s opened up shop and will be hand making totally awesome one of a kind Bag Bags! These are the nifty little bags you hang in your kitchen to hold all your plastic bags with a little hole down at the bottom for dispensing the bags one at a time…I LOVE these things! […]

[…] Here’s a cute story about a 10 year old doing something more productive with his day than wasting all of his energy on X-Box or TV. Georges makes “Bag Bags” on his mother’s sewing machine at home, and sells them. Part of his profit he’s directing to a charity he likes. Clever idea worth a look, even if you don’t need a Bag Bag for yourself. […]

Okay, G- I just ordered two-one for our winter house in Florida and one for our house in Chicago. We use plastic bags for the kitty litter box and since the cats get to spend winters in Florida, too, we need them for both places. Right now we have bags blowing around like sagebrush.

Good for you for being so enterprising! I met your mom through my blog and I enjoy visiting her there and reading what she has to say, including the ways she thinks and feels about you. I have a son-he’s a grown up jazz musician-and he doesn’t like me to write about him very much so I respect his privacy most of the time (not ALL of the time). Mothers like nothing more than to write about their children. :-)

Take care and good luck with all your S As. Those probably should come first so don’t worry if it takes a while to get to the bag thing. I love the Heifer program- I always like to give bee hives to people. “Give a person a bee and he gets stung once. Give a person a beehive and he gets, ta-da!- HONEY.

I definitely want one of your wonderful bags. Perhaps I am a “difficult” customer though. How about my own fabric? And can I have it without the hole at the bottom? I love Heifer International–you picked a great cause!
