Testing…
Monday, October 25th, 2010Color expiriment
Saturday, October 16th, 2010Hi! Long ago, when I was way younger, I struggled a TON trying to make it so that the user could drag size sliders — Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, and purple, to make pretty much every color in the book. I spent hours, and hours making completely overcomplicated mathematic equations, untilI finally gave up.
A few days ago, a REALLY simple solution hit me, and I spent a few min whipping it up. Here are the results:

Oh, and you’ll need the Unity Web Player.
Home Made Space Travel!
Thursday, October 7th, 2010Traveling along my web path (It’s a term I use to refer to an extension I built, called WebPath, which I sue the peruse the net) I came along a post on borntechie.com!
At first, I didn’t believe it — The post was claiming that somebody had sent a home made spacecraft into.. You guessed it.. Outer space!
It turns out, that the ship didn’t get too high (Okay, well, I guess 5 and a half miles in the air is high to some people — But that is only a small percentage of the earth’s radius, and it’s still within earth’s atmosphere) However, it still went far enough to constitute, in my mind, outer space. Just barely.
The ship was rather brilliantly engineered — It was attached to a weather balloon, which, once high enough, pops due to lack of pressure (The difference in pressure caused the Helium inside to burst the balloon), and then falls back to earth, transmitting a GPS signal.
Somehow, mid fall, the ship deploys a parachute, which allows it to land safely.
Dont believe me? Watch this video:
I just don’t think that could be CGI.
