Apron Time!

Monday, January 29th, 2007

Look, I made an apron too!

This is me at my mom’s sewing machine.  She says I can have it when she gets a new one.  I can’t wait!

This is the front side of my apron.

Picachu pocket!! I decided to only to have a pocket out of this fabric because it is really too bright.

Mom helped me make it reverse-able.  I like that it’s two different colors and I picked out the fabric.

This pocket is like the pockets on my hoody sweatshirts.  I like that.

Next step, cooking lessons with my dad.  I sure hope I get extra credit at school for all this work!

Thanks!

Thank you everybody, for leaving comments. I’m sorry if I haven’t responded to everyone, but I’m reading them. It’s just that sometimes I get busy and it all clogs up–my mom calls that a back-log. So, responding to them all is hard. I do appreciate your input. Please keep commenting.

Her super powers are: super-sonic barking and overall sneakiness!

Chapter Four:

Monday, October 2nd, 2006

Wow! I’ve been busy here at Disney World. I have discovered “love bugs”–a bug I’ve never seen before. It is mating season and they fly around connected. They are attracted to bright colors–which means they are always on our clothes.

I’ve been riding lots of rides. My favorites are Tower of Terror, Big Thunder Railroad, Expedition Everest, and Primeval Whirl. The reason I like these rides is because they give me a thrill. Some of them have big drops–eventually, they don’t seem so bad if you ride them enough. But I can only ride them one time or I begin to shake.

I’ve also seen a lot of cool animals, especially at Animal Kingdom. Some of them have interesting names like Tapir and Okapi. Today, in an aviary, a guide pulled me aside and told me a secret. She showed me a beautiful bird who was nesting. I would tell you where, but she made promise not to tell and I keep secrets. It was awesome!

Back at our hotel, I’ve even seen bunnies. I think there might be a colony living in the bushes beside our building. Today, there was a beautiful red moth outside our door. There is so much to see here.

This is a skull of an Okapi–next to a Giraffe, its only relative:

Chapter Three:

We are half way and I’ve sure done a TON! My family has been running around like crazy. One of the things we like to do is eat at different restaurants. You get to do fun stuff at the restaurants here. Here is a picture of me doing the hula hoop at lunch:hula.jpg

Here I am playing the drums at a favorite restaurant called BOMA:

This is me learning to do the Hula Dance:

My Picture of Me

Hello this picture you see was actually not a competely purposeful picture.  I was trying to take a picture of the flower but I couldn’t keep my head out of the picture because I had to keep an eye on the camera lens to make sure it got the view straight down the flower.  I personaly think it was a hilarious, but did you notice a lot of I’s?
